Welcome to TariffBase! This guide will help you get started quickly by covering the essential steps to access and use key features of the platform.

1. Create an Account

1. Visit the TariffBase website.
2. Click Sign Up and complete the registration process.
3. Verify your email address to activate your account.

2. Start Your Free Trial

• All new users can start a 10-day free trial to explore core features:
  • Tariff Search for CN, EU, and US data
  • Schedule Browser for tariff timelines
  • News Section for the latest trade updates

To activate your trial:

1. Click any link of the sidebar to see the Subscription Plan page.
2. Click Start Free Trial to begin your trial instantly.

3. Exploring Key Features

Tariff Search

• Access tariff rates for products by selecting:
  • Destination Country
  • Origin Country
  • Product's Tariff Code
• Results will display applicable tariffs, including preferential rates (in bold) and additional duties.

Schedule Browser

• Browse comprehensive tariff schedules by:
  • Selecting the desired Country and HS Chapter
• View detailed rates and their respective trade agreements.

HS Finder

• Use the HS Finder tool to identify the correct HS code by entering a detailed product description.
• The system will generate possible HS codes with a detailed classification report.

News Section

• Stay updated with trade and tariff developments in the News section, which is refreshed every 30 minutes.

Regulatory Tracker

• Track global tariff actions using the interactive Timeline and Action List.
• Click on any timeline entry to view related details.

Reports & Insights

• Access curated research, expert analysis, and trade impact studies in the Reports section.

4. Subscription Plans

Choose from flexible plans tailored to your needs:

• Free Trial: Access basic tools for 10 days at no cost.
• Standard Plan: ($30/month or $288/year) Ideal for small businesses seeking tariff intelligence.
• Professional Plan: ($50/month or $480/year) For enterprises needing advanced tools like the API and HS Finder.

To manage your subscription:

• Navigate to the Subscription Settings page.
• Select your desired plan or click Change Plan to upgrade or downgrade.

5. Payment & Billing

• Payments are securely processed through Stripe.
• To manage billing details or invoices, click Manage Billing in your dashboard.
• If switching plans, Stripe automatically applies prorated credits for unused subscription time.
